After previous spells with Bedford Blues and Newcastle Falcons, Will was one of a number of new arrivals brought to the Chiefs ahead of the 2012-13 season. As a young scrum-half, he was initially recruited on a one-year deal from the Falcons, but his impressive debut year resulted in him being awarded a new two-year contract before the season had been completed.

Will is considered a livewire player who possesses a good pass off both hands, he also loves to make a break and play with real tempo. Chudley provided stiff competition for the likes of Haydn Thomas, Kevin Barrett and Junior Poluleuligaga in the number nine jersey during his first season at Sandy Park and has now become a well established member of the team.

Will impressed Stuart Lancaster and won his place in the England team to take on the Barbarians in May 2015, here’s to an exciting future!

In 2017, Will and the Exeter Chiefs squad won the Aviva Premiership title!
